Performance Analysis of 4: 1 Multiplexer Using Adiabatic Logic for Low Power VLSI Application

Multiplexer is a digital circuit, or MUX, is a type of selector by which can route one input data among many to the output. Another name for multiplexer is a data selector. Multiplexers are applied by many methods. Because there is no energy exchange throughout the thermodynamic process, adiabatic logic dissipates less energy loss. Adiabatic logic uses the idea of switching operations to restore stored energy to the supply in order to lower power consumption. These circuits with low power that employ reversible logic to save energy. In addition to CMOS, DYNAMIC CMOS, TRANSMISSION GATE, and PASS TRANSISTOR logic, these multiplexer designs use adiabatic logic techniques: Positive Feedback Adiabatic logic (PFAL) and Efficient Charge Recovery Logic (ECRL). These circuits are created by designing and simulating them. The results show that PFAL logic uses less energy than other logic.
