Increasing the Efficiency of Lighting Systems as an Element of City Power Supply Systems

The work is devoted to increasing the efficiency of the power supply and lighting systems of cities. The idea of the work is the automatic online control of modes of city lighting systems that consider the criteria of economic, ecological and social efficiency. The relevance of the research topic lies in the low efficiency of the power supply and lighting systems of cities because critically important criteria of social and environmental efficiency are not considered when evaluating parameters and modes. Neglecting them threatens the onset of severe social and environmental consequences. The purpose of the work is to increase the efficiency of the power supply and lighting systems of cities, based on the implementation of a system of operational control over the quality of lighting. To achieve the goal, the following main tasks were solved in the work: the regimes of the power supply and lighting systems of cities were evaluated; criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of their work are defined; criteria and scientific and technical solutions for increasing the efficiency of lighting systems as a component of power supply and city lighting systems are proposed.
