An Unbalance Compensation Method for Rotor System of Magnetic levitation motors based on beetle algorithm

In order to reduce the co-frequency unbalanced vibration of the rigid rotor system of the active magnetic bearing (AMB), the unbalance compensation method based on the notch filter is usually used. The structure of the filter can be improved, but the improved filter will affect the stability of the system. In order to avoid this problem, this paper proposes a novel method for suppressing the unbalanced vibration of AMB rotor system based on the beetle algorithm. The variable-step beetle algorithm is used to search for the unbalance parameters of the high-speed magnetic bearing motor, and then the unbalance parameters are used for the compensation current calculation of the magnetic bearing, so as to conduct the method of unbalanced vibration compensation. Simulations are carried out to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method under the conditions of constant speed and variable speed of the motor, respectively.
