Event-triggered Model-free Adaptive Sliding-mode Control for CPSs under DoS Attacks

This article investigates an event-triggered model-free adaptive sliding mode control issue of cyber-physical systems with dual channels denial-of-service (DoS) attacks. First, a model-free adaptive sliding mode control scheme is established with merely the input and output data of the controlled plant, and the dual channels DoS attacks are modeled. Second, an event-triggering mechanism is introduced in the model-free adaptive sliding mode control scheme, which can effectively reduce the number of data transfers to reduce the communication burden. Moreover, on the controller side, the input and output compensation algorithms are designed to reduce the effect of DoS attacks under forward and feedback channels. Finally, the convergence of the control error is roughly proved, and the results of simulation studies demonstrate the proposed approach’s effectiveness.
