Magnetodynamic and Thermal Homogenisation of Foil Windings for Magnetic Components

This digest deals with the magnetodynamic and thermal homogenisation of foil windings for the magnetic components in power electronic converters. The electro-thermal design of magnetics requires accurate and fast power loss computation to guarantee the thermal constraints. Homogenisation techniques, either numerical or (semi-)analytical, usually handle both physics independently. In this work, we proposed a coupled approach for foil windings in high-frequency magnetic components.
