Electromagnetic-Mechanical Model Consideration of High-Speed Train High Voltage Traction Motor

This work proposes an electromagnetic-mechanical modeling of an interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) as a traction motor for high-speed railway traction application. Based on initial modeling, mechanical model modifications are proposed that can improve the overall robustness of the traction motor.
