A control System and Method for Optimizing Hydrogen Production Efficiency based on ·simulated Annealing Algorithm

China confronts the dual challenges of transforming its energy structure and pursuing sustainable development. The employment of renewable energy sources for hydrogen production is regarded as a crucial stride towards establishing a sustainable hydrogen economy. Enhancing the efficiency of this process is paramount for the advancement of renewable energy technologies. This paper introduces a hydrogen production efficiency control system and method, utilizing a simulated annealing algorithm, to address the optimization issues encountered in large-scale, intermittent renewable energy hydrogen production systems. Initially, the study analyzes and models the pivotal parameters involved in the hydrogen production process, leading to the derivation of an efficiency optimization objective function and its corresponding constraints. Subsequently, the optimization is carried out using the simulated annealing algorithm to augment hydrogen production efficiency. The efficacy of the proposed control algorithm is validated through simulation in Matlab, where numerical analysis and comparison reveal its superiority in enhancing hydrogen production efficiency over both power sharing and standard simulated annealing algorithms.
