Characteristics Analysis of the Wireless Power Transfer System Using LCC/S Unilateral Magnetic Integrated Compensation Circuit

The characteristics of the wireless power transfer (WPT) system based on LCC/S unilateral magnetic integrated compensation circuit are analyzed in this paper, including output power, transmission efficiency and turn-off current of the inverter. Magnetic integrated topology has the advantage of small volume and can also improve the misalignment tolerance. By modeling the integrated compensation circuit, the system characteristics under variable load and offset distances are studied. Moreover, the influence of the capacitance connected in series with the transmitting coil on the output power is also analyzed. Finally, the theoretical analysis is verified by the experiments. The results show that the error between experimental values and theoretical values of the transmission power and turn-off current of the inverter is small, and the misalignment tolerance of the WPT system can be improved.
