Analysis and Optimization on Motor Vibration Noise Associate with Inverter Switching Frequency

On the one hand, the application of permanent magnet motors in various high-end industries has promoted the improvement of the design and manufacturing level of permanent magnet motors. On the other hand, it has also put forward increasingly higher requirements for the performance of permanent magnet motors. Among them, vibration noise has gradually become an important indicator to measure the performance level of permanent magnet motors. It is widely concerned in various industries. Therefore, conducting research on the electromagnetic vibration of permanent magnet motors has important scientific value and application value. This paper mainly analyzes the source of motor vibration noise from the perspective of the switching frequency of the motor controller, derives the analytical expression of the electromagnetic force that causes vibration noise, and verifies the impact of switching frequency on vibration noise through experiments. Combined with theoretical analysis. A method to suppress vibration noise by changing the switching frequency has been presented by this article.
