An Intelligent Farming System with Automated Watering and Fertilizing Based on Soil and Weather Analytics

About 60% of the population of India depends onagriculture for its livelihood, but its contribution towards the GDP of India is 20 percentage only. One possible reason for this is the lack of automated knowledge regarding high yielding cultivation methods based on local geographical features. The proposed system is an Intelligent Farming System with Automated Watering and Fertilizing based on Soil and Weather Analytics that applies time driven prediction technique based on factors affecting agricultural production such as rainfall, temperature, soil fertility and humidity. Along with this to ensure sustainability, solar power is used as a secondary power source. By analyzing the information details given by the agronomist like type of land and crop, the software sends reminders to the farmer's phones about watering and fertilizing which further improves automated farming to a large area using IoT and ML techniques.
