On-line automated calibration device for large vertical gauges

In order to solve the problem of difficult handling and detection of large-size vertical gages in verticality detection, a large-size vertical gages on-line automated calibration device composed of photoelectric self-collimator, self-designed mechanically-driven trolley and automatic data acquisition system has been established. This set of devices can realize this kind of verticality measurement data acquisition process automation, fully meet the latest "right angle ruler calibration regulations" on the requirements of measuring standard instruments. The reliability of the device was verified by repeating 10 sets of experiments on the same wide seated angle ruler and calculating the measurement uncertainty. The results show that the use of this device eliminates the positioning error caused by the non-coincidence of the front and back of the pitch point in the measurement of static pitch method, reduces the final uncertainty, and improves the detection accuracy.
