Multifocal Nanobot for Drug Delivery in a Simulated Environment

Path Planning and Navigation of Nanobots inside blood vessel for drug delivery can be achieved by propelling the nanobots magnetically. There are various electromagnetic configurations with different structure. The performance efficiency of combined Helmholtz and Maxwell configuration has the best exit rate of 68 percent in models developed previously. The Nanobots stick to the wall of the blood vessel due to the friction present between wall of the blood vessel and nanobot resulting in inaccurate drug delivery. We introduce a reliable drug delivery system by increasing the exit rate without tumor cells in blood vessel and evaluate the same in the presence of tumor cells. This has not been considered in the previous models. The mathematical and structural model of this configuration is introduced and evaluated in COMSOL Multiphysics simulation software under different circumstances. The exit rate achieved by our magnetic manipulation system is 84 percent in absence of tumor cells using 75 nanobots. The exit rate achieved by our magnetic manipulation system in presence of 5, 10 and 15 tumor cells are 72, 52 and 61.3 percent respectively, which is a significant improvement
