Offline Parameter Identification of SPMSM Based on Open Loop Voltage Injection

In order to achieve the stability and high responsiveness of current control, it is necessary to optimize the design of the current controller, which requires motor parameters. Therefore, offline parameter identification is of research value for the initial value selection of controller parameters when the parameters are unknown or varying. In this paper, a relatively independent stator resistance and inductance identification method based on adaptive open-loop voltage injection is proposed for surface mounted permanent magnet synchronous motors (SPMSMs). To enhance identification accuracy, the effects of inverter dead zone and digital filters are analyzed and improved and compensated from the perspective of geometric vector and transfer function, respectively. Finally, the effectiveness of this identification method is verified on a 750 W SPMSM motor.
