A Novel Sensorless Control Scheme based on Disturbance Observer for drive Motor

A velocity and position estimation strategy with sliding mode observer is studied to realize the sensorless control for drive motor. At first, the problem of slow adjusting velocity/significant chattering value in tradition extended observer is solved by introducing a new power convergence law; secondly, to address the disadvantages of the traditional sensorless estimation algorithms, a phase-locked loop (PLL) estimation strategy is studied to solve this question. Finally, the control effectiveness is proved through the Matlab/Simulink modelling and the experimental results of the motor speed control platform.
