Analysis of Constant Frequency Quasi-Resonant Double ZVS Boost Converter using State-Plane Diagram

This research work proposes a novel quasi-resonant zero voltage switching (QRZVS) boost converter for constant switching frequency operation. The proposed converter consists of two switches which both work under pulse width modulation (PWM) and zero voltage switching (ZVS) condition. With low switching loss, the proposed topology can be operated at high switching frequency. Hence, small size can be achieved. The steady state analysis of this converter will be investigated via state-plane diagram approach. In addition, design and computer simulation to confirm the analytical work will be presented in this paper.
