Smart E-Cycle for Abled/Disabled and Autistic Children - Fabrication and Validation

This project is to provide a safe, comfortable, eco-friendly transportation option for children with special needs. It is a three-wheeler electric cum manual cycle with features such as seat belts, GPS tracker, horn, brake, speed controller, crash detection system. This cycle has sensors that can detect obstacles, traffic signals, pedestrians and can alert the rider or the guardian through voice or vibration. It is integrated with amobile app that can monitor the cycle's location, battery level, speed, distance travelled. It can also communicate with the rider or the guardian through text or voice messages. This project aims to boost the mobility, health, environmental sustainability, and social inclusion of children with disabilities and autism while fostering independence. The project's results include offering accessible transportation, enhancing safety, well-being, and education for children with special needs.
