Investigation on 3D-Lens Correction for Multispectral Camera Systems with Actuated Image Sensor

This paper represents a method to correct optical aberrations occurring with an image stack taken with a moving image sensor in a multispectral camera. The reason behind is to find out which is the best approximation and how many points real are needed to correct the 2D distortion in every z position of the image sensor to guarantee high quality 2D-measurements. The unique thing herby is that image sensor is moved for focusing as well as for the 3D sampling. The challenge to become useable measuring result is than correcting the changing magnification over the working range as well as the distortion as a function of object distance.
