Combined Model Of Incineration And Dispenser For Sanitary Napkins

The proposed combined model aims to educate and increase awareness of using sanitary napkins in rural schools and faculties. It also proposes incinerators to reduce infection, environmental pollutants, and clogging of public drainage systems. The dispenser machines, which will accept coins, can be used in industries and contribute to an eco-friendly environment. The double-chamber design ensures hygienic disposal, while the device can also be used as plant fertilizer. The goal is to improve health and hygiene in rural areas. It is an automated machine that simplifies and smooths the process of disposing of sanitary napkins and dispensing new sanitary napkins. One compartment slot with 20 sanitary pads is designed in the dispenser. An incinerator can burn up to five pads in one iteration. The burning time and dispensing time are tabulated with satisfactory results. The incinerator and dispenser are designed using an Arduino UNO, a 4-channel relay, a control relay, a DC servo motor, An LCD display is used to indicate the status of sanitary napkins; a nickel heating coil is used to burn the napkins; and a nickel-coated spring is used to store the napkins. This machine is operated with less emission and consumed power supply, so it is fully eco-friendly and in a hygienic manner. It can be installed in schools, colleges, train compartments, railway stations, and public toilets for the betterment of society, and it also gives the best message toward the “Swachh Bharat Mission.”
