Research on High Power Output Characteristics of an Low-frequency Solid-state Protector

In this paper, the output characteristics of the proposed multistage low-frequency solid-state protector are studied in detail from the aspects of steady state response and transient response based on the principle and composition of the protector. Furthermore, a special test platform was set up to verify the protective characteristics of the component. The results show that the isolation of the protector can be higher than 43dB and the response time is faster than 4ns under the typical input microwave pulse of 63 dBm power, 1us pulse width and 1 kHz refrequency, which shows good protection characteristics and has guiding significance for the design and research of similar devices.
