Increasing the Accuracy and Speed of Digital Gram Gauges Calibration through the AI Use

The paper presents a new approach to organising verification and calibration of gram gauges through artificial intelligence tools’ use, which improves the accuracy and speed of performing relevant metrological procedures. The article presents the structure of the corresponding verification and calibration setup for gram gauges, which, for the first time, uses computer vision. The paper describes the main stages of the performed mathematical processing using neural networks. The authors discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the proposed approach in comparison with the standard procedure for testing existing commercially produced gram gauges.
