GIS-based Meteorological Disaster Risk Assessment for Rice in Northeast China in the Context of Big Data

The use of GIS technology to analyse and assess meteorological disaster risks not only provides important reference values for disaster prevention and dispatch, emergency relief, emergency treatment and agricultural meteorological disaster insurance, but also has important significance for crop production management, agricultural disaster compensation, planting structure adjustment and yield prediction. The objective of this paper is to study rice meteorological disaster risk assessment based on GIS in Northeast China in the context of big data. A GIS-based meteorological disaster risk assessment system for rice is designed, and the main technologies and modules of the system are introduced. The impact of cold damage on the yield decline rate of rice in Northeast China was analyzed, providing a theoretical basis for rice layout and ultimately for rice production in Northeast China.
