Electric Motor Control Methods and Improvements Applied to Electric Vehicles: A State of the Art

As a result of energy-related worries concerning energy shortage and global warming, investigations are conducted so as to provide solutions to integrate renewable energy and to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases caused especially by transportation. Therefore, many works are done that aim to improve Electric Vehicles. An overview of the many types of electric vehicles is given in this document, and a state of the art of different Electric Motor Control Techniques used and their improvements with their advantages and limitations.
