Research on the Error Analysis of Electric Energy Metering Devices in AC Power Transmission Systems

Electric energy is a vital foundational resource in today's society, integral to the development of industry, agriculture, commerce, and essential in everyday life. The accuracy of electric energy metering directly affects the interests of electricity generation, supply, and consumption during financial settlements. To protect the rights and interests of all parties involved and minimize errors in the electric energy metering system, addressing these inaccuracies becomes crucial. This paper examines the sources of errors in electric energy metering systems, focusing on a system composed of voltage transformers, current transformers, and electronic electric energy meters. It identifies factors influencing the accuracy of electric energy metering and constructs an overall model of the electric energy metering system. Theoretical analysis and simulation calculations are then conducted for typical influencing factors, such as frequency offset of the signal and harmonic components of the signal. Finally, through simulation analysis, suggestions for reducing errors are proposed, providing insights and reference ideas for the error calibration of digital electric energy metering systems.
