A secure Data Hiding Scheme Using LFSR and Modified AES

In the realm of cyberspace, the requirement for data confidentiality is of utmost importance and cannot be overlooked. To effectively address this concern, the proposed work aims to introduce a robust data hiding scheme that uses the Linear Feedback Shift Register (LFSR) and a Modified Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). Addressing the limitations of conventional steganography, our approach incorporates encryption through modified AES-128 before data hiding. Additionally, a comprehensive and in-depth literature survey has been conducted to explore and analyze the existing relevant works in the field. Moreover, the methodology also integrates the utilization of the LFSR technique for randomization. The results demonstrate and highlight the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed approach, yielding a notably improved PSNR (Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio) value. Ultimately, the scheme offers enhanced security and proves to be highly suitable and applicable for various data-hiding applications.
