Smart Blockchain Secured Application for Healthcare: SBSAH

Technology advancements in the Internet of Things (IoT) and Blockchain (BT) have replaced the traditional healthcare system with smart healthcare. This intends to explore the potential benefits of combining blockchain technology with IoT in the healthcare enterprise. IoT consists of those devices that are used to collect data from users and in healthcare, these devices are used to accumulate patient sensory data in real time for processing and analysis. There are various problems associated with collecting data and simply storing them, so to eliminate that Blockchain is used. Blockchain can easily solve these difficulties by delivering decentralized memory and storage for collected information. And a combination of IoT and Blockchain will help in creating secure e-healthcare systems. Along with this, we will also discuss data security with Blockchain and other use cases of these technologies showing some of their key features. Additionally, we will be showcasing a component of MEDIFY, a flutter-based android application that we have created to allow the user and medical institutes to access and update the IoT-collected data. This application is specially designed for users to update medical records, and access them when required, and these records are all secured by Blockchain and stored in our firebase servers.
