The 4th Industrial Revolution, also known as or the Industry 4.0, has been characterized by the emergence of revolutionary technologies like robotics, computer vision, big data the analysis, and the Internet of Things, or IoT for short, directly into the operations of industries. As these technologies become increasingly widespread, they also introduce new cybersecurity risks that need to be addressed. This paper provides a comprehensive review of the current literature on cyber security challenges and mitigation strategies in Industry 4.0. The research approach involved a systematic literature review of academic journals, conference proceedings, and relevant reports and studies.
