Development and design battery electrode by Fe2O3 as active material coted on fiber paper

Now a day, the energy problems are an increasing and an important that are energy shortage problem and environmental problem. All problems can be solved by green energy such as solar energy, win energy, water energy and biomass. Many researchers interest in the development of generate electricity that is power generator. Development of power generator have to develop energy storage too. The energy storage development is the study of battery. Today, the study of energy storage equipment's is divided into battery and capacitor or supercapacitor. In this study. the electrode of battery made form waste paper is interested. This electrode is advantage in flexible and environmental friendly because it is a fiber paper. The fiber paper is coated by conducting polymer (PEDOT: PSS) mix with carbon nanotube that is a first layer. After that, the second layer is Fe

O
3
coating by sparking technique. The first layer is 3

MWCNTs/PEDOT: PSS which is the optimum condition in previous report. In this study, the layer of Fe
2
O
3
increase the electric capacity of an electrode. An Electrode sample was analyzed the morphology and Fe
2
O
3
by SEM and XRD technique. The results, Fe
2
O
3
are good distribute on electrode surface and Fe
2
O
3
is verified by XRD. From the result, 3

MWCNTs/PEDOT: PSS/ Fe

O
3
show higher electrical capacity than no coated sample around 13.79 times in LiCl electrolyte. Moreover, 3
^%
MWCNTs/PEDOT: PSS/ Fe
2
O
3
also show higher electrical capacity than no coated sample around 7.2 times in NaOH electrolyte. The impedance of 3
^%
MWCNTs/PEDOT: PSS/ Fe
2
O
3
have low electrical resistivity and low resistance between electrode and electrolyte comparing with no coated sample. Therefore, Fe
2
O
3
can increase an efficiency of an electrode for battery.
