Exploring the Effective Strategies Against Major Challenges in Cloud Forensics

Cloud computing has brought about a significant transformation in the field of IT by providing scalability and cost-effectiveness. However, it has also brought forth a range of intricate issues in the realm of digital forensics. The process of examining and gathering data from cloud-based platforms in order to support a legal inquiry or security breach is known as cloud forensics. This research review explores the primary difficulties encountered in cloud forensics, encompassing concerns related to data privacy, data jurisdiction, transient data, the coexistence of multiple users, complexities associated with virtualization, and the absence of established protocols. The study identified effective strategies and possible solutions for the concerns raised during the literature review. In the subsequent sections of the article, the challenges of the implementation of prescribed solutions and future directions to new research works are also elaborated in a systematic manner.
