ANN Based Solar Panel Tracking with DC-DC Converter

Growth in renewable energy sources has generally increased due to the rising costs of fossil fuels and C02 emissions. To cope with consumer demands, more focus is being placed on renewable resources because of an increasing need for electricity. The production of power is heavily reliant on non-conventional sources. Due to its clean, inexhaustible, and environmentally friendly nature, solar energy has emerged as one of the leading renewable energy sources. Nevertheless, no end user load can be supported by the solar PV cell's fluctuating voltage. To control and enhance the voltage at the output terminal of the PV panel, choppers must be used. In this paper, a comparison of various MPPT algorithms is suggested to get the most output possible from the solar panel. Using a chopper, the proposed Artificial Neural Network (ANN) method is modeled and executed. In MATLAB/SIMULINK, a simulation analysis of the suggested PV -powered power electronic converter is conducted, and results are presented.
