Modeling and Control of Photovoltaic System Interfacing Grid

In this work, we proceeded to study a photovoltaic solar generator connected to the distribution network and participated in the improvement of the quality of energy injected into the grid. Operation with a unity power factor is obtained by controlling the photovoltaic active power injected. The two-stage system is structured around a photovoltaic generator, a boost chopper, and a three-phase voltage inverter. To optimize the energy extracted from the photovoltaic generator, a global P&O type maximum power extraction technique is associated with the control in order to generate the optimal reference voltage on the DC bus. The results of the simulation allowed us to visualize the operation of the various components of the system, as well as the behavior of the system during the variation of the meteorological values.
