Features in Aerodynamic Characteristics and Flow Structures Around an Aircraft with Perforated Stabilizing Devices

The paper is devoted to mathematical modeling of subsonic airflow around a high aspect ratio aircraft with stabilizers in a wide range of angles of attack from 0° to 90°. The stabilizers were thin flat perforated plates. The study of interference that occurs between the body of the aircraft and the stabilizing devices is the focus of the paper. The commercial computational package FlowVision was chosen as a tool for the numerical experiment. It makes it possible to carry out numerical simulations of the flow around vehicles of various shapes and layouts with high accuracy.
