Computer Simulation of the Surface Radiometry Process

The problem of modeling the process of ocean radiotomography by means of passive or active radiosonding is considered. The possibility of restoring the shape of the ocean surface by the received signal and the influence of ocean surface disturbances on the process of restoration is investigated. The diffraction of electromagnetic radiation on a periodic layer is modeled using the method of parallel projections. A cluster supercomputer variant of the organization of computations by means of this method is implemented, the parallel properties of the algorithm are investigated. The speedup of the parallel implementation of computations on clusters MVS-10P, MVS-100K MSC RAS and HybriLIT LIT JINR turns out to be close to linear. For the needs of the ocean radiotomography, calculations are carried out to determine the optimal sensing angle; the possibility of solving the inverse problem of restoring the shape of the ocean surface from the radiosonding data is shown.
