Energy Storage Regulation Strategy for 5G Base Stations Considering Power Supply Reliability

The rapid development of 5G has greatly increased the total energy storage capacity of base stations. How to fully utilize the often dormant base station energy storage resources so that they can actively participate in the electricity market is an urgent research question. This paper develops a simulation system designed to effectively manage unused energy storage resources of 5G base stations and participate in the electric energy market. This paper proposes an analysis method for energy storage dispatchable power that considers power supply reliability, and establishes a dispatching model for 5G base station energy storage to participate in the electric energy market. Experimental results show that the energy storage regulation strategy proposed in this article can reduce base station operating costs to a certain extent.
