Exploration of Computer-Based Programming in the Clinical Application of Traditional Chinese Medicine's Five-Element Music Therapy

The clinical application of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Five-Element music therapy has achieved certain results in the treatment of physical and mental diseases. However, there are still issues such as limited song choices, unclear tonic modes, and neglect of individual differences among patients in selecting appropriate music. This article explores the feasibility and clinical application of computer-based programming for the Five-Element music, aiming to enhance clinical intervention through more diverse and standardized Five-Element music therapy. By utilizing computer technology, it becomes possible to compose music with different rhythms, styles, and emotional expressions within each tonic mode, thus promoting personalized treatment in TCM Five-Element music therapy.
