Printed Polygon Slot Stair Antenna for ISM Band 2.4 and 3.4 GHz with Rectifier for RF Energy Harvesting

A Polygon Slot Stair Antenna and Greinacher Voltage Rectifier were meticulously engineered for RF Energy Harvesting, employing HFSS and ADS Software. The antenna, with dimensions of 50×50×1.6 mm

, boasts a hexagonal structure optimized for 3.4 GHz and a decagonal structure tailored for the ISM Band at 2.4 GHz. Remarkably, these designs exhibit outstanding reflection coefficients of -32.85 dB and -45.98 dB, respectively. To achieve optimal performance, a comprehensive approach was employed, encompassing parameter tuning in both the patch and stair-in-ground techniques. The Greinacher Voltage Rectifier was thoughtfully designed with a two-stage configuration. Notably, the rectifier attains an efficiency of 75.93% when subjected to a 20 dBm input power and a load resistance of 500 Ω.
