I. Introduction
We have already developed an optical fiber link millimeter-wave device vector performance measurement system using two mixers and a lock-in amplifier [1]. In the case of using the lock-in amplifier, the system uses two same frequency signals, one is a reference signal as an output signal from the mixer no. 1 and another one is a measurement signal as an output signal from the mixer no. 2. In addition, there are some types of the mixers used for the millimeter wave band mixer, for example fundamental mixer, a sub harmonic mixer, x8 mixer, and so on. To use the nth-order mixer and a fundamental mixer, we need to prepare an nth multiplier as for generating the reference signal of the lock-in amplifier. To simplify the system, we have newly developed a time-domain millimeter-wave vector measurement system without the vector network analyzer and the lock-in amplifier. Our developed system consists of an optical fiber link millimeter wave generating system [2], an optical fiber link receiving system [3], two mixers, and an oscilloscope.
