Design and Testing of Data Communication System Integration on RX-450.03 Sounding Rocket

The RX-450 rocket is a ballistic rocket with a diameter of 450mm. It is equipped with avionic sensors such as accelerometers and gyroscopes coupled to a microprocessor, RF systems with frequencies of 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz, and a navigation system/Global Positioning System (GPS). The objective of the research was to build a data communication system that could be attached to the rocket, and then conduct a rocket flight test to identify the characteristics of the rocket dynamics during flight. Based on the data collected, it was observed that the rocket accelerated up to 10g in the 17th second. Additionally, the GPS data was lost at 36.25 Km in the 66
