Design of Local Path Planning Algorithm for Mobile Robot

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, navigation technology such as positioning, and route planning has become an important research direction in the field of robotics. This paper uses Python, ROS, Gazebo and RVIZ development environments to study the environment simulation and path planning of cleaning robots. We propose a new path optimization method by using dynamic window algorithm and give a concrete implementation scheme. Firstly, Python language is used to verify its effectiveness and feasibility in path planning. Then, the cleaning robot model is built in ROS, and the cleaning robot is equipped with radar and odometer sensors, and the obstacles and emergencies that the cleaning robot may encounter in the real environment are simulated. Finally, through the simulation experiment, it is proved that the path optimization algorithm studied in this paper is feasible and has certain application value.
