A Study on Iterative Field Testability Evaluation Method Based on Prior Information

With the increasing application of precision electronic devices relying on Built-In Test (BIT) in advanced military aircrafts, testability indicators have become an important factor affecting flight safety and generation combat capacity. An iterative field testability evaluation method based on prior information was proposed under the Bayesian framework to deal with the problems of few testability evaluation samples and low evaluation accuracy after the service of advanced military aircraft. Firstly, the problem of field testability evaluation was described. Secondly, the hyperparameters in prior distribution of the testability parameters were obtained by combination of the moment equivalent method and the maximum entropy method based on the prior information. Finally, the posterior distribution was obtained by using Bayes formula, and the iterative estimation result of testability parameters was obtained. The practical case showed the correctness and advantages of the proposed method compared with the existing method. In addition, the prior information could be used effectively to improve accuracy of evaluation.
