Design of Compact Flexible Circular Stair Shaped Wearable Antenna

The presented flexible circular stairs shaped wearable antenna is simulated on a jeans textile substrate. The microstrip linefeed technique is used to energize the proposed antenna. It gives the wider range of frequencies from 3.04GHz to 25 GHz that is Super High Frequency Band (SHF) range. The proposed antenna has −10dB simulated bandwidth is 156.63%. The presented antenna’s size is 43.6$\times $49 mm

that it resonates at 6.904 GHz. The proposed antenna deign is applicable for various applications such as satellite communication, Wi-Fi, missile guidance, airborne intercept, terminal air traffic control and IoT etc. It can be implemented with a very simple manufacturing process. The proposed antenna offers maximum reflection coefficient (S11) of −52.19dB, adequate VSWR<2 over operating band, peak gain of 5.54 dBi.
