Indoor Environment Propagation Prediction Based on Shooting and Bouncing Rays Method

Based on the SBR (Shooting and Bouncing Rays) simulation method, this paper predicts electromagnetic propagation in indoor corridors. Experiments were conducted on two test paths, and the calculated RMSE of the predicted results was found to be 1.47dB, indicating a relatively small deviation between the predictions and the actual observations. These test paths provide insight into the propagation behavior of electromagnetic waves in indoor corridor environments. The aim of this study is to evaluate and optimize the performance of wireless communication systems in indoor corridors. By gaining a deeper understanding of electromagnetic wave propagation in indoor corridors, we can make better decisions regarding antenna placement, configuration and power control strategies to improve the performance and range of wireless communication systems in indoor corridors.
