A multi-band high surface impedance design of array-antenna for CCFD

In this manuscript, a multi-band high impedance surface (HIS) unit design method for isolation improvement among Tx and Rx antennas in co-frequency co-time full duplex (CCFD) situations is presented. Based on typical cylinder HIS unit, a cross and a cross ring are introduced above the cylinder respectively. Working bands add with the introduction of these additional components, which could be explained by corresponding electric lengths changing. Simulation results indicate four working bands in the specified frequency range in unit 4. Simulation results of HIS array based on unit 4 show that average isolation improvement of four bands is about 30 dB.
