Quality Based Feedback Scheme for Wireless Cognitive Radio Network in Rayleigh Fading Channels

Abstract—In this paper, we study the outage performance of a multi-user cognitive radio network with an energy harvesting relay. The user scheduling is performed using quality-based channel state information (CSI) reporting to reduce the feedback overload. The CSI of the users above a pre-defined threshold reported to the relay to perform user selection. Simulation results demonstrate the accuracy of the analytical expression for outage performance.
