Mining Sentiment from the Sea of Youtube Comments

The study explores a selection of aspects connected to the sentiment analysis of comments posted by users on videos uploaded to YouTube. Social media platforms have evolved into hubs for user-generated content and conversations in the age of digital media, with YouTube acting as an important platform for video sharing and engagement. YouTube, with millions of videos published every single day and a flourishing user community, offers an extensive amount of opinions and emotions expressed via the comments section. This study focuses on the usage of sentiment evaluation on YouTube comments to obtain an in-depth understanding of the platform's users' emotional dynamics and perspectives. Thepurpose of this investigation is to provide insight into the sentiment distribution within YouTube comments, with an emphasis on the polarity of sentiments-positive, negative, and neutral. The research study examines sentiment trends across numerous video genres with a selection of tools for sentiment analysis and strategies. The developed system not only categorizes comments but also assigns them sentiment scores to capture the intensity of user sentiment. This approach offers a more fine-grained understanding of user preferences and allows for content creators and platform administrators to adapt their strategies, personalize contentrecommendations, and engage with their audience more effectively.
