Smart Garden Sensor Technology

Energy reusability and conservation of resources are a primary focus in today’s world. The proposed system uses Internet of Things (IoT) to harness natural resources and develop a smart garden maintenance system. Renewable energy sources like solar energy is used to power an automated robotic car that can trim excess grass in a garden. The robotic car is custom trained to detect grass and nearby objects using TensorFlow lite and OpenCV libraries. It can also estimate the distance of obstacles in its vicinity to avoid collisions. Water conservation is accomplished by rainwater harvesting and using the rainwater to maintain soil moisture level of the garden.
