AI Technology Underpinning the Design and Production of Mechanical Automation Equipment

The advancement of design, manufacturing, and automation not only effectively supports the achievement of China's industrial power and the enhancement of the gross national product, but also elevates the living of the people and establishes the production foundation for ongoing development. The advancement of AI can enhance the level of automation. To more effectively differentiate the impact of AI technology on mechanical manufacturing, we carefully chose 30 students from a mechanical college and evenly separated them into two groups. Group A students employed conventional mechanical design and manufacturing techniques to conduct experiments, but group B utilized AI to enhance their ability to design and fabricate machinery. Through the advancement of experimental time and progress, we have discovered a significant disparity between the two cohorts of students. The experimental findings indicate that at a mechanical production level of 30%, the waste rate for group A is 0.4% and for group B is 0.2%, resulting in a savings of 0.2%. It saves 0.3% more resources in group B than in group A at manufacturing success stages of 50% and 70%. This is because group A wastes 5% more resources than group B, while group B wastes 1% less. Hence, the utilization of AI technology can enhance the operational effectiveness of mechanical manufacturers, while concurrently minimizing resource wastage, thereby exerting a significant influence on the expeditious advancement of mechanical manufacturing.
