Driver Assistance System Using YOLOv7 Algorithm

In this paper, we introduce an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) powered by the YOLOv7 algorithm. The choice of the YOLOv7 algorithm hinges on its cost-effective approach to managing multiple variables during driving, surpassing the efficiency of combining other sensors. Notably, the 7th iteration of this algorithm boasts computational optimizations, enhancing its capability for real-time object detection compared to its predecessors. Building on this foundation, our work presents a dependable ADAS design centered on pedestrian detection via YOLOv7, demonstrating its efficacy.
