Design of a Dynamic Monitoring System for Groundwater in the High Cold Zone Based on the IoT

China's high cold zone has a severe environment with bitterly cold winters. Groundwater monitoring equipment often has problems when working in the field. A groundwater dynamic online monitoring system with significant environmental adaptability is built, and the monitoring data is sent back to the central station through the Internet of Things. To address the system's low-temperature resistance, lower power consumption, and boost system dependability. The sensor's temperature adjustment method is explored, and the correctness of its measurements is demonstrated using accuracy tests. It has been applied in China's high cold zones, and after a long time of operation, the system continues to function well. It can effectively withstand the extreme cold, enable remote transmission and automated collecting, and boost fieldwork productivity.
