A Notion of Robustness for Infinite Systems with Time Delays and its Applications on Cyber-Physical Systems

Since signal transmission and data processing often cause state delay of systems, it is necessary to investigate the input-output dynamical stability of infinite systems with time delays. In this brief, authors apply simulation relation and algebraic state space representation methods to model infinite systems with time delays as delayed logical networks. First, robustness of finite systems with time delays is analyzed via corresponding delayed logical networks. Second, robustness of infinite systems with time delays is also analyzed via corresponding finite systems with time delays. Finally, an illustrative example about cyber-physical systems with time delays and its simulation results verify the applicability of the proposed results.
