Finite-Time Boundedness for a Class of Nonlinear Descriptor Hamiltonian Systems

This paper investigates the finite-time boundedness problem for a class of nonlinear descriptor Hamiltonian systems. First of all, a controller is designed to transform the nonlinear descriptor Hamiltonian system into a strictly dissipative differential-algebraic system. Then, the finite-time boundedness of nonlinear descriptor Hamiltonian system is proved by strictly dissipative differential-algebraic system. Finally, a nonlinear descriptor circuit system, for example, to prove the effectiveness of the designed controller.
